Time to go...

For all those interested:
Wilfred Laurier- Music (will branch into education later...)
University of Western Ontario- Music Education
Wilfred Laurier- Global Studies (kind of a back up)
Laurentian- Outdoor Adventure Leadership (Dream program, but i just want to see if i get in...)
McMaster- Music (I got a really good feel from their program at the university fair)(again... almost a back up)

And so we continue.
This one's for you, Christina... cus you asked for it.

So its been a while, and although there has been alot to blog about, there really hasn't been alot of time between band, being really really sick, band, school, band, guides and band.
mostly, my life has been school, with a few distractions here and there. ORCA comes to mind, where we got more snow in that one weekend than the entire month of december. (keep in mind that it was the beginning of october)
infact my parents wouldn't let me drive up becuase it was a snowstorm. creepy eh. Christina flew in from Nova scotia to instruct with the crazies from camp this summer. It was amazing, and i learned how to solo. So much fun, besides rosemary and i being the only ones under say... 30??
Then we fast forward to Honour Band, where i met an amazing group of people and had the best time of my life in rehearsal. Even for 9 hours a day. It was pretty intense. we then travelled for half the week, which was amazing. sooo random and sooo much fun. see the pictures, they explain alot.
Past that, there really hasn't been alot until december. November was boring.
decemeber was concerts galore... including the ever-nerve shattering english folk song suite. it went surprisingly well though.
We then come to christmas, where my family came here for a change, which was nice. Then comes bowling/sleep over with guiding people, which is always a treat, and then fast forward to new years! Christina flew in from Calgary, and we went to coras for breakfast, then did a whole whack of stuff in between that and coming to my house for the actual new years... which was, restful as some napping took place before the big countdown. All in all it was good, and i'm glad i got to spend it with most of my favourite guiding people!
then on the first we went to the sanderson's again for a dinner. it was really really good. we played air hockey, watched the parent trap, and ate. tres fun.
and then basically we fast forward to today. i'm sure there is alot i'm missing, but when every day is blog worthy, you have to pick and choose, or otherwise you'll all be here until 2008 as i recount my life day by day.
Unfortunately, my dad wants to clean the carpet in here, so further investivagion will continue shortly.

That Laurentien program sounds really neat. Good luck. I'm sure you'll have a blast no matter where you end up.
