WHAT a Year!!

well... now that christmas is over, and all the unwanted presents are forgotten, its time to take a look at the year in review. there are still a few days left, but i can pretty much tell you right now, that it will be fun, but not fun enough to write about. so here's a few highlights about 2005:

• Jan 9th- Happy Birthday to me... shortly after, G1!!
• Ottawa- "surely you can't tell me that Rosemary's not ours!" and "i shop at Valmrt."
• Festival season with bands- our kiwanis scandal, riding with the percussion stuff with Auda and Dave, winning that leadership thing... NOT spending the money yet...
• Italy!!- awesome trip! lots of good food, fun, gelato, spanish boys, fanta, sights, and friends "your cigarette smells like SHIT"
• Rugby- OFSAA all the way!! although i had to sit out half the season. and with rugby goes:
• Physio- on my leg which swelled to twice its normal size for two months after a freak rugby accident...atleast i learned how to hobble well
• Cabaret- more work than it was worth, but turned out GREAT this year, but it will be even better in 2006 cus guess who's CHAIRING it!! (me and steph W)
• Boys- what an interesting year... eric... that was INTERESTING
• Grade 10 band- who could NOT mention all the fantastic fun we had last year, Muriel, Claire and i in the back row. all i can say is KM+PMD and CS+BFS! <3<3
• ORCA C- an eventful time by all... including tina's car. Cherry Cherry Cherry Cherry BATMAN! (yeah anna!) What a bad Sunburn!
• Music Banquet- lots of fun! the katrisvanave!! woot. and Aerosmith. Katherine, you are the coolest.
• Algonquin- Lots of fun! jamie came, and made it better. OH Franz the frog, OH Franz the frog! and GO CAR GO, Hungry Bum, and gunther made another appearance!
• England and Europe 2005- the family part was fun, went back to my roots (scotland), although i think we were the first ones back since we left 5 or 6 generations ago... got to see Alex, Devon, Aunt Liz and Uncle Glynn again, and DYED my hair PINK. the girl guide part beat any other trip i've ever been on (sorry), too many good things to say, except TOO MUCH FUN.
• Niagara Falls- lots of fun... not fun falling off my bike though, but the waiter was funny.
• Music Council Retreat and Gr 9 Music Retreat- actually slept in my own bed on both occasions... wierd. Lots of music geekynesssssssss
• OMEA- lots of fun, definitely worth enduring 6 hours of bus ride, with teh Bus Driver...FROM HELL!
• SEMI- lots of fun, good things happened(can you tell i'm getting bored of this...)
• The rest of 2005-(and all that i missed) SO MUCH FUN... i think that this has been the best year yet, by far, so many good memories, i don't know how 2006 is going to even compare... its got alot to live up to. thanks to everyone who made it happen.
• Katie's Shower- one last thing... for the only bridal shower i've ever been to, i can say it was the best i've ever been to, and probably will remain to be for a while atleast!! it was SO much fun!!
