Blue Skies

so yeah, life.... not too shabby... well, since my last post, CABARET HAPPENED... among others.

so lets start at Cabaret!
well... i had to do all the techness... it wasn't too bad, but i could have used a little help. its so hard when you are "in charge" of your friends... you want to seem like you;re not being a bossy bitch, and you can't comment when they totally slack, and you can't complain cus then they'll think you're a bitch... ack, so hard.
so anyways, Cabaret was great, eric came, and that made me very happy. very very happy... it could have been a little better if i could have had at least a FEW minutes to escape...but i didn't, and ppl were like giving me and him wierd looks... it was kinda funny.
MMBB played great, but its not the best room to play in... bad acoustics! man, i was SO tired after it though... i was glad it was over, no more tech for me!

next... hmm... ooh brownie camp last weekend. it was fun! except it smelled cus we were on a farm and it was raining...but i ended up setting up the tent, and not sleeping in it which really pissed me off... cus i sleep so much better in a tent than on the floor... wierd eh... anyways, the other brownies we're SO MUCH FUN... man i really need to switch units, this one is just not for me... i'm more hardcore than that...i've just been brought up with guiding so much more strict and regimented, its wierd to not go all out for a camp...

and then we come to today... probably the longest and most painful injury since stitches, or dislocating my arm...so here's the story
Rugby game today against Stouffville, the She-man team... man are they HUGE!!! so... i made the starting line up, which was REALLY exciting!!! so yeah, about 10 minutes into the game, and i was even playing really well, so i run to pick up a loose ball, and get totally taken out by a she-man hitting me square in the thigh... ACK THE PAIN!!!! OMG... well at first, it was like numbness, and then i got up and tried to put weight on it, but that didn't work.... then the PAIN came, PAIN LIKE I HAD NEVER HAD BEFORE... i'm surprised i didn't cry... but yeah, it took like 3 ppl yelling INJURY, for them to notice and stop the game... then i limped off and sat out the rest of the game, and i couldn't walk home, and i can't walk now, and i'm SO SORE... like unbelievable pain. man i need morphine...and what sucks even more is that we have games wed and a tournament fri, and i dunno if i'm gonna be able to walk. it sucks.

SO yeah, pain and more pain, but i have to go and attempt a Cabaret write-up...
